Chinese New Year’s Eve

Chinese New Year’s Eve is on the 30th of the twelveth lunar month. It is an important festival in China. There are many celebrations and customs on that day.

People often get together to spend the whole night. They often eat the big dinner together too. The New Year’s dinner is tasteful and delicious. Dumplings are necessary on the table.

After enjoying the dinner, the family sit together and watch the Spring Festival gala.

People often set off fireworks and firecrackers to scare “Nian” away.

This is the  New Year’s Eve in China.
