Dear Ms Ouyang,

Last Friday morning, I made a joke about Sarah’s teeth. Sarah felt very angry and sad. So she told it to you, and you told my mum. At first, I thought Sarah and I were good friends and it was only a joke. So I didn’t think it was a big deal. But after a long talk with mum, I realized “ sometimes words are weapons”. Something makes me happy but may make others sad. I feel sorry for my jokes. Friends should support and help each other. We should not make jokes or tease each others. That’s not what friends are for. I should say sorry to Sarah.
