                                                               Happy Spring Festival

   Do you like Spring Festival? It’s the most important festival in China. It’s usually in January or February. Children do not have to go to school and their parents don’t have to go to work either. 

Before Spring Festival，people clean their houses, stick red couplets on their gates,and set off fire crackers to drive away the legendary monster “Nian”.

On the eve of Spring Festival, families usually gather together to have a big meal. Dumplings are one of the most traditional foods, so at Spring Festival, people eat dumplings in the big meal. After dinner,the whole family will go to the flower fair. When they come back home, they will always watch “Gala”. Children also get lucky money from adults. Sometimes we will visit our friends, and we will say:” Happy New Year!” to each other.

Spring Festival is a day when we bring our best wishes to each other. I love Spring Festival!
